We spent a day in Guayaquil before heading to the Galapagos. Many warned of its dangers, but we enjoyed our short visit.

Can’t say that I recognize much of Guayaquil….but I didn’t recognize much of Lompoc, Ca either….glad that you took the time to go there. Tommy was the project engineer of the Nuevo Puerto Maritimo which I don’t think is in use. We lived in the suburb called Urdessa. Have a great time in Bogotá! We toured there years ago, too.
